This Privacy Policy explains how Görkem Koşar (“I,” “me,” “my,” or the “Owner”) collects, uses, stores, shares, publishes, transfers, and protects personal data in connection with Fallen Fur (the “Game”), its related services, and external pet-submission activities.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the separate Pet Submission, AI Illustration and Publication Agreement, the separate Pet Submission Privacy Notice, and the consent and permission choices recorded through the applicable pet-submission form. 

1. Who I Am

For the purposes of applicable privacy laws, the operator and data controller of the Game is:

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with:

• downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Game;

• guest accounts and registered accounts;

• email/password, Google, and Apple sign-in;

• cloud save and game-progress features;

• gameplay analytics and diagnostics;

• advertisements and advertising consent;

• subscriptions, purchases, and virtual benefits;

• gameplay reminders and notifications;

• saving permitted Game images to a device gallery;

• support, complaints, and account-deletion requests;

• future leaderboards, profiles, multiplayer, or similar features;

• pet photographs, pet videos, permitted audio, stories, names, social-media details, ownership evidence, consent records, and related materials submitted outside the Game; 

• AI-assisted creation, image editing, video editing, audio editing, publication, social-media distribution, and promotion of pet-related content. 

This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party websites, social-media platforms, app stores, payment providers, login providers, or other services that independently determine how they process personal data.

3. Categories of Personal Data I May Process

The categories processed depend on which features you use.

3.1 Account and identification data

I may process:

• email address;

• username;

• Firebase user identifier;

• anonymous guest identifier;

• account creation date;

• authentication method;

• authentication confirmation records;

• display name provided by a login provider;

• account status;

• account-deletion status;

• information needed to verify account ownership.

Passwords used for email/password authentication are handled through the authentication provider. I do not intend to receive or store passwords in readable form.

3.2 Birth year and age-treatment status

On first launch, the Game asks the user to select a birth year.

The birth year is used to determine whether the user is:

• under 16; or

• aged 16 or over.

The raw birth year is intended to remain stored locally on the device. I do not currently intend to send the raw birth year to Firebase, analytics providers, advertising providers, or my own remote database for demographic statistics.

The Game may send or apply an age-treatment status or privacy flag, rather than the raw birth year, to advertising and consent systems. Examples include flags indicating that a user:

• should be treated as a child;

• is under the applicable age of consent;

• must receive non-personalized advertising;

• must not be tracked for personalized advertising.

The locally stored birth year or age classification may remain on the device until the app data is cleared, the Game is uninstalled, the setting is reset, or the information is otherwise removed.

The age gate is based on information entered by the user. I do not normally independently verify every user’s age.

3.3 Device, network, and technical data

I and my service providers may process:

• device type and model;

• operating system and version;

• device language;

• app version;

• platform;

• IP address;

• internet connection and network status;

• device and app identifiers;

• anonymous installation identifiers;

• advertising identifier, where permitted;

• time zone;

• coarse country or region;

• consent status;

• privacy settings;

• technical logs;

• error information;

• performance data;

• crash or diagnostic information where enabled;

• security and fraud signals.

I do not intentionally request or collect precise GPS location for the Game.

Country or coarse region may be inferred from IP address, device settings, app-store region, consent-provider information, or similar technical signals.

3.4 Gameplay, progress, and usage data

I may process:

• levels played;

• level results;

• game progress;

• scores;

• completion times;

• lives;

• hints;

• gold or virtual currency;

• unlocked content;

• settings and preferences;

• gameplay sessions;

• session length;

• interactions with features;

• advertisement interactions;

• purchase and subscription entitlements;

• notification preferences;

• future leaderboard or multiplayer statistics;

• security, anti-cheat, and abuse-related events.

This information may be stored locally, in Firebase Firestore, or through another service used to operate the Game.

3.5 Data received from Google or Apple sign-in

If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, I may receive:

• a provider-specific user identifier;

• email address;

• display name, where provided;

• authentication token or confirmation;

• limited profile information made available by that provider.

The information received depends on your provider settings and the permissions granted.

I do not use Facebook login.

3.6 Purchase and subscription data

If you make a purchase or begin a subscription, I may receive:

• purchased product identifier;

• subscription type;

• entitlement status;

• transaction identifier;

• purchase platform;

• purchase date;

• renewal date;

• expiration date;

• cancellation status;

• refund status;

• limited technical information required to validate the purchase;

• information relating to suspected billing fraud or chargebacks.

Payments are processed through Apple, Google, and related providers. RevenueCat may be used to validate purchases and manage entitlements.

I do not receive your complete payment-card number, card security code, or full banking details from Apple or Google.

3.7 Notification data

If gameplay reminders or other permitted notifications are enabled, I or a notification provider may process:

• push-notification token;

• device platform;

• notification permission status;

• delivery status;

• notification interactions;

• reminder preferences.

You can disable notifications through the Game where available or through your device settings.

At present, notifications are intended primarily for gameplay reminders rather than unrelated third-party marketing.

3.8 Device gallery and saved images

If you use a feature that saves an image, sticker, or share card to your gallery, the Game may request the device permission or system access needed to complete the save.

I do not intend to collect the other photos already stored in your gallery merely because you use the export function.

The Game should access only the permissions reasonably required for the feature, subject to the operating system’s behavior.

3.9 Support, complaints, and legal communications

When you contact me, I may process:

• name;

• email address;

• username;

• account identifier;

• message content;

• screenshots or attachments;

• device information voluntarily provided;

• complaint details;

• legal request details;

• identity-verification information where necessary;

• records of my response.

Please do not send unnecessary sensitive personal information.

4. Pet Submissions Received Outside the Game

The Game may include daily or special levels based on pets whose owners voluntarily submit materials outside the Game. Submissions may include photographs, videos, stories, names, credits, usernames, links, ownership evidence, permissions, and related information.

Selected photographs, resulting illustrations, pet names, and edited stories may appear inside the Game. Submitted videos are intended primarily for official Fallen Fur social-media and promotional use and are not necessarily intended to appear inside the Game.

Pet submissions may be received through:

• Instagram messages;

• email;

• website forms;

• cloud-storage links;

• other social-media platforms;

• other communication methods I agree to accept.

Pet submissions are accepted only from individuals aged 18 or over.

Before I rely on a pet submission for publication, the submitter must affirmatively accept the separate Pet Submission, AI Illustration and Publication Agreement, receive the separate Pet Submission Privacy Notice, and complete the required consent, ownership, publication, and permission choices through the applicable submission form. 

4.1 Pet-submission data I may receive

A pet submission may include:

• pet photographs;

• pet videos;

• audio contained in submitted videos;

• still frames extracted from submitted videos; 

• the pet’s name;

• the pet’s story;

• the owner’s name;

• photographer, videographer, copyright-owner, or other rights-holder information;

• email address;

• Instagram username or page;

• TikTok username or page;

• YouTube username, channel, or page;

• website or social-media links;

• messages exchanged with me;

• preferences concerning attribution;

• confirmation that the submitter is aged 18 or over;

• confirmation of ownership or permission;

• typed name, electronic acceptance, date, and agreement version;

• file metadata embedded in submitted files;

• Google Form responses;

• uploaded ownership or permission evidence;

• video duration and content confirmations;

• choices concerning in-game publication, social-media publication, attribution, names, usernames, links, and promotional use;

• technical information relating to uploaded videos, including file format, file size, duration, and embedded metadata; 

• records relating to review, publication, rejection, removal, or complaints.

A photograph or video showing an animal may not identify a person by itself. However, when combined with an owner’s name, email address, social-media account, story, message history, agreement record, file metadata, voice, or other information, it may become associated with an identifiable person and be treated as personal data. 

4.2 Prohibited pet-submission content

Pet submissions must not contain:

• identifiable people;

• images, videos, voices, or information relating to children;

• faces, bodies, voices, private conversations, or personal images of third parties;

• unauthorized music or sound recordings;

• television, radio, films, online videos, or other third-party audiovisual material;

• vehicle registration plates;

• addresses;

• precise location information;

• identification documents;

• telephone numbers;

• private email addresses not intended for public display;

• financial or payment information;

• medical or similarly sensitive personal information;

• confidential records;

• photographs, videos, audio, text, or other materials the submitter is not authorized to provide;

• unlawful, graphic, dangerous, abusive, or harmful material.

Submitters should remove unnecessary metadata, including precise location metadata, from photographs and videos before uploading them. 

I may inspect, mute, redact, crop, blur, edit, reject, or delete material that appears to include prohibited information. However, I cannot guarantee that I will identify every hidden, embedded, visual, or audio element before receiving or processing a file. 

4.3 Purposes of pet-submission processing

I may process pet-submission data to:

• communicate with the submitter;

• confirm age, ownership, authority, or permission;

• review and moderate the submission;

• detect prohibited or unsafe content;

• create AI-assisted or AI-generated pet illustrations;

• crop, edit, retouch, transform, or combine photographs, videos, audio, illustrations, text, and other submitted materials; 

• rewrite, shorten, expand, translate, correct, or adapt stories;

• create a daily or special level;

• publish approved photographs, submitted videos, edited video clips, extracted video frames, illustrations, stories, names, credits, usernames, and authorized links; 

• promote the Game and related pet level;

• respond to complaints and removal requests;

• maintain evidence of permission and acceptance;

• protect against copyright, privacy, ownership, or authorization disputes;

• review, play, inspect, and moderate submitted videos;

• detect prohibited people, voices, music, private conversations, and other unsafe or unauthorized audiovisual material;

• edit, trim, crop, mute, stabilize, resize, reframe, caption, subtitle, combine, split, loop, change the speed of, or otherwise transform videos;

• extract still frames from submitted videos;

• create social-media clips, posts, trailers, advertisements, and promotional content;

• publish selected pet videos and edited video content on official Fallen Fur social-media and promotional channels;

• keep authorized social-media content available after the related daily Game level has ended;

• maintain records connecting each photograph and video to the relevant agreement, consent choices, and ownership evidence; 

• comply with legal and platform obligations.

4.4 Artificial-Intelligence, Video, Audio, and External Processing of Pet Materials 

I may use one or more external artificial-intelligence, image-generation, image-editing, video-editing, audio-editing, text-editing, translation, storage, hosting, communication, social-media, or production services. 

The specific provider, model, software, or combination of services may vary depending on:

• availability;

• technical needs;

• quality;

• cost;

• provider terms;

• security and privacy settings;

• project requirements.

Pet photographs, videos, permitted audio, stories, ownership evidence, consent records, attribution details, and related information may be transferred to and processed by these providers to review, moderate, create, edit, store, host, publish, distribute, or manage content. 

Video-processing providers may receive the complete submitted video, including any visual or audio material contained in the file. Videos may be muted, shortened, cropped, stabilized, resized, reformatted, captioned, combined, split, looped, or otherwise transformed. Still frames may also be extracted from videos. 

Some providers may process data in countries outside Türkiye or the submitter’s country. Their retention, security, and service-improvement practices are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, account settings, and service configurations.

Where reasonably available and appropriate, I may use privacy settings intended to limit unnecessary retention or model training. However, I cannot make an absolute guarantee about every provider’s independent technical processing.

A submitter may contact me before submitting materials to request available information about the categories of external providers that may process the submission. I may not be able to identify the exact provider, model, tool, or combination of services that will ultimately be used in advance, except where disclosure is required by applicable law. 

4.5 Public publication of pet materials

If selected, some or all of the following may be made public worldwide:

• original pet photographs;

• AI-assisted or AI-generated illustrations;

• pet name;

• pet story;

• the owner’s or submitter’s name, where separately authorized;

• photographer or videographer credit, where separately authorized;

• Instagram username or link, where separately authorized;

• TikTok username or link, where separately authorized;

• YouTube channel, username, or link, where separately authorized;

• another approved attribution or external link, where separately authorized.

• TikTok username or link;

• YouTube channel, username, or link;

• other approved attribution or external link; 

• original submitted pet videos;

• edited pet-video clips;

• still frames extracted from videos;

• captions or subtitles added to videos;

• audio, music, effects, branding, or promotional elements lawfully selected and added by me; 

Publication may occur:

• inside the Game, for photographs, illustrations, pet names, and edited stories where applicable;

• on my website;

• on Instagram;

• on TikTok;

• on YouTube;

• on other official Fallen Fur social-media accounts;

• in app-store screenshots or preview videos;

• in trailers;

• in advertisements;

• in promotional posts;

• in press, portfolio, presentation, or marketing materials.

Submitted pet videos are intended primarily for official Fallen Fur social-media and promotional channels. A video may be published before, during, or after the related daily level and may remain publicly available after the daily level has ended. 

Publicly displayed content can be viewed worldwide and may be copied, photographed, downloaded, embedded, screen-recorded, cached, indexed, archived, shared, modified, or reposted by other people or platforms. 

Even if I later remove content from the Game or accounts under my control, I may be unable to remove:

• screenshots and screen recordings;

• downloaded photographs or videos;

• search-engine caches;

• third-party archives;

• shared or embedded posts;

• platform backups;

• unauthorized reposts;

• edited or transformed copies made by third parties;

• other content controlled by external platforms or users.

4.6 Free and paid pet submissions

Pet submissions may sometimes be free and may sometimes require payment.

The same privacy principles apply whether the submission is free, paid, promotional, or invitation-based.

Where a paid opportunity is offered, purchase and entitlement data may be processed through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another authorized provider.

The payment arrangement and publication conditions are governed by the Terms and Conditions, purchase disclosures, and the Pet Submission Agreement.

5. How I Use Personal Data

I may use personal data to:

• provide, maintain, and operate the Game;

• provide guest access;

• create and manage accounts;

• authenticate users;

• store, synchronize, and restore progress;

• provide cloud-save functionality;

• provide subscriptions, purchases, rewards, and entitlements;

• display and measure advertisements;

• provide personalized advertising where lawfully permitted and consented to;

• provide non-personalized or contextual advertising;

• apply age-based advertising protections;

• record and respect advertising consent choices;

• provide privacy choices and consent withdrawal mechanisms;

• send gameplay reminders;

• provide support;

• process account deletion;

• analyze Game usage;

• improve gameplay, balance, performance, and reliability;

• detect crashes and technical errors;

• prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and chargeback abuse;

• enforce the Terms and Conditions;

• protect users, service providers, third parties, and my rights;

• comply with legal, accounting, tax, consumer-protection, and platform requirements;

• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

• process, review, moderate, edit, transform, publish, distribute, promote, archive, and manage pet photographs, videos, permitted audio, stories, ownership evidence, and other pet-submission materials; 

• create and publish edited pet videos, social-media clips, extracted video frames, captions, subtitles, promotional posts, and related audiovisual content; 

• operate future profiles, leaderboards, multiplayer, and community features.

6. Advertising, Age Treatment, and Consent

The Game uses Unity LevelPlay for advertising mediation.

Depending on the platform and Game version, advertisements may be supplied through:

• Google AdMob;

• Unity Ads;

• other mediation partners added in the future.

If another advertising provider is added, this Privacy Policy and applicable store disclosures should be updated where necessary.

Meta Audience Network is not part of the current advertising stack as of the Last Updated date.

6.1 Users under 16

If the locally entered birth year indicates that a user is under 16:

• the user is treated as a child for the Game’s advertising flow;

• personalized advertising is disabled;

• advertisements are intended to be contextual or non-personalized;

• child-directed and under-age-of-consent flags are applied where appropriate;

• advertising-consent prompts for personalized ads are skipped;

• Apple’s tracking permission prompt is not shown;

• the Game applies a do-not-sell or opt-out status where appropriate;

• the Game does not intentionally provide the raw birth year to advertising partners.

Some technical data and persistent identifiers may still be processed where necessary to:

• deliver contextual advertising;

• cap ad frequency;

• prevent fraud;

• maintain security;

• support network communications;

• measure basic performance;

• operate the Game.

Such data must not be intentionally used by me to build a behavioral-advertising profile for an under-16 user.

6.2 Users aged 16 or over in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland

For users aged 16 or over in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Game uses Google User Messaging Platform, Google’s consent-management system, where required.

The consent form may allow the user to:

• consent to personalized advertising;

• decline consent;

• manage advertising options;

• review participating advertising partners.

If consent is declined or not obtained, advertisements may still be shown, but they should be non-personalized or otherwise limited according to the available consent signals and provider requirements.

The Game includes a Privacy Choices option in Settings that can reopen Google’s privacy-options form where available.

6.3 Apple tracking permission

For eligible iOS users aged 16 or over, the Game may show an explanation before requesting Apple’s native tracking permission.

If the user continues, Apple displays its own system permission dialog.

If permission is denied, restricted, not requested, or otherwise unavailable:

• the Game should not use Apple’s advertising identifier for prohibited tracking;

• advertisements may still be shown;

• advertising may be less personalized;

• other privacy and regional consent rules still apply.

Apple’s tracking permission and European advertising consent are separate requirements. Granting one does not automatically grant the other.

6.4 Users outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

For eligible users outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, advertising treatment may depend on:

• age;

• platform;

• device settings;

• Apple tracking permission;

• applicable regional laws;

• advertising-provider requirements;

• privacy opt-out signals.

Where applicable law provides a right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing, users may use available Privacy Choices controls or contact me.

6.5 No sale for money

I do not intend to sell personal data to data brokers in exchange for money.

However, some disclosures of identifiers or advertising data to advertising partners may be legally classified as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising” under certain United States state laws, even when no money is directly paid for the data.

Where such rights apply, eligible users may request to opt out.

7. Analytics and Diagnostics

The Game may use:

• Firebase Analytics;

• Google Analytics for Firebase;

• Unity Services Analytics;

• technical logging and diagnostic tools enabled in a particular version.

Analytics providers may process:

• anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers;

• device and app information;

• coarse country or region;

• session activity;

• feature interactions;

• progress events;

• purchase and subscription events;

• advertisement events;

• technical performance;

• errors and crashes where enabled.

I do not currently intend to send the user’s raw birth year to analytics systems.

Analytics may be limited for under-16 users as required by applicable law, provider settings, platform rules, and the purposes permitted for internal operation.

I may disclose personal data to providers that perform services on my behalf or independently provide platform functionality.

• communication and file-transfer services selected by the submitter or me;

• image-generation and image-editing services;

• video-editing and video-processing services;

• audio-editing and audio-processing services;

• text-processing and translation services;

• captioning and subtitling tools;

• file-hosting, backup, or creative-production tools;

• social-media hosting and distribution platforms;

• contractors or professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

8.7 Legal and safety recipients

Personal data may also be disclosed:

• to courts;

• regulators;

• law-enforcement authorities;

• tax authorities;

• consumer-protection authorities;

• legal advisers;

• accountants;

• insurers;

• fraud-prevention providers;

• a purchaser or successor in connection with a sale or transfer of the Game;

where disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Game.

Service providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Some act only on instructions, while others independently determine certain processing activities.

9. Legal Grounds for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, I may rely on:

9.1 Performance of a contract

• provide the Game;

• maintain accounts;

• authenticate users;

• provide cloud saves;

• deliver purchases and subscriptions;

• provide customer support;

• review and process a pet submission accepted under the Pet Submission Agreement, including creating the requested pet-related content and administering the submission process. 

9.2 Legitimate interests

• operate and improve the Game;

• maintain security;

• prevent fraud and cheating;

• analyze basic performance;

• defend legal claims;

• enforce the Terms;

• maintain evidence of permissions;

• moderate pet submissions;

• protect users and third parties; 

• maintain evidence connecting submitted photographs and videos to ownership permissions, consent choices, and the accepted agreement;

• secure, organize, back up, and manage submission files;

• moderate videos for unauthorized people, voices, music, personal information, or copyrighted content;

• establish, exercise, or defend claims concerning photographs, videos, audio, publication, and ownership.

I consider whether these interests are overridden by the rights of the affected person, particularly where children are involved.

9.3 Consent

Where required, I may rely on consent for:

• personalized advertising;

• Apple tracking permission;

• notifications;

• public publication of pet photographs, videos, edited clips, stories, names, credits, usernames, links, and related pet materials where consent is required; 

• artificial-intelligence processing and the image, video, audio, or text transformation of pet-submission materials; 

• worldwide publication of submitted pet videos and edited video content on official Fallen Fur social-media and promotional channels; 

• other optional uses explained when consent is requested.

Advertising consent may be changed through the Privacy Choices feature where available.

Pet-submission consent and authorization are handled separately through the Pet Submission Agreement and the consent and permission choices recorded in the applicable Google Form or other affirmative submission process. The separate Pet Submission Privacy Notice explains this processing at the time of submission. 

9.4 Legal obligations

To:

• maintain tax and accounting records;

• respond to lawful requests;

• satisfy app-store and consumer-protection requirements;

• respond to privacy-rights requests;

• prevent prohibited processing;

• comply with applicable law.

9.5 Establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims

I may retain and use limited information where reasonably necessary to:

• demonstrate authorization;

• address ownership disputes;

• respond to complaints;

• investigate fraud;

• defend against legal claims;

• enforce agreements.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily to children.

The Game uses a neutral birth-year screen before advertising and consent systems are initialized.

10.1 Users under 16

Users under 16:

• receive non-personalized or contextual advertisements;

• do not receive Apple’s tracking prompt;

• do not receive personalized-advertising consent prompts;

• are assigned appropriate child and under-age advertising flags.

Children should use the Game with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.

10.2 Users under 13

Users under 13 must not create a registered account, use third-party sign-in, provide an email address, or intentionally submit personal data unless a legally valid parental-consent process is available.

Where no verified parental-consent process is available, users under 13 should use only the guest experience and should not contact support in a way that reveals unnecessary personal information.

Necessary technical identifiers may still be processed for limited internal operations, such as:

• authentication of an anonymous guest;

• maintenance of progress;

• security;

• fraud prevention;

• contextual advertising;

• basic technical operations;

only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If I learn that personal data beyond permitted internal operations has been collected from a child under 13 without required parental consent, I will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict it.

Parents or legal guardians may contact fallenfurgame@gmail.com regarding a child’s information.

10.3 Pet submissions

Pet submissions are not accepted directly from anyone under 18.

A minor’s parent or legal guardian should not submit on behalf of the minor unless I have expressly approved a separate process in writing.

11. Data Retention

I retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to legal, technical, security, and dispute-related needs.

Retention depends on the data category.

11.1 Account and progress data

Account, profile, and cloud-save data may be retained while the account remains active and until deletion is requested, subject to limited lawful retention.

11.2 Guest data

Guest data may remain:

• locally on the device;

• under an anonymous Firebase identifier;

• until the app data is cleared;

• until the Game is uninstalled;

• until deletion is initiated where available;

• until inactive or obsolete records are removed.

11.3 Purchase records

Purchase and subscription information may be retained for the period required to:

• maintain entitlements;

• process refunds;

• manage chargebacks;

• prevent fraud;

• meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and platform requirements.

Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain separate records under their own policies.

11.4 Advertising and consent records

Consent and privacy-choice records may be retained as necessary to:

• remember the user’s selection;

• demonstrate compliance;

• permit consent changes;

• prevent repeated consent prompts;

• satisfy provider and legal requirements.

11.5 Support and legal records

Support, complaint, and legal-request records may be retained while needed to resolve the matter and afterward for a reasonable period to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

11.6 Pet-submission materials

Pending, rejected, selected, and published pet-submission materials may include photographs, videos, permitted audio, stories, names, social-media information, Google Form responses, agreement records, ownership evidence, consent records, and publication records.

These materials may be retained while reasonably necessary to:

• review and moderate the submission;

• create illustrations, video edits, daily levels, and promotional content;

• publish and maintain authorized social-media content;

• maintain records of what was published;

• connect submitted materials with the applicable agreement and permissions;

• establish ownership and authorization;

• respond to complaints, copyright claims, privacy requests, or platform disputes;

• prevent fraud;

• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

• comply with legal and platform obligations.

Selected photographs, videos, edited clips, illustrations, and related materials may be retained while authorized social-media or promotional content remains published and for a reasonable period afterward for evidence, dispute handling, and legal claims.

Rejected, duplicate, unsuitable, or unused files will be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably necessary for review, production, security, dispute handling, legal compliance, or another valid purpose. They may be retained for a longer period where a complaint, ownership dispute, legal obligation, security issue, or legal claim requires continued retention. 

Agreement, consent, ownership, and permission records may be retained for the applicable legal limitation period or as otherwise reasonably necessary to prove authorization.

Published illustrations, edited videos, promotional edits, captions, layouts, and other creative materials may remain part of Game, promotional, archival, or production records, subject to applicable privacy rights and the Pet Submission Agreement.

Submission materials may be transferred from Google Drive to encrypted local storage, an encrypted external drive, another secure storage system, or a backup system. Moving files to another storage location does not change their status as personal data.

I do not claim an unlimited right to retain personal data where applicable law requires deletion.

11.7 Backups

Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups until it is overwritten through ordinary backup cycles, unless immediate removal is technically and legally required.

12. Account and Data Deletion

Users may initiate account deletion within the Game where available.

Following a valid deletion request, I will generally delete or de-identify:

• account information;

• profile information;

• username;

• cloud-save data;

• progress;

• account-linked rewards;

• other associated Game data.

I may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for:

• tax and accounting obligations;

• purchase and subscription records;

• chargebacks;

• fraud prevention;

• security;

• dispute handling;

• enforcement;

• legal claims;

• platform compliance.

Account deletion may not:

• cancel an active Apple or Google subscription;

• delete records controlled independently by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, login providers, advertisers, or other service providers;

• remove screenshots, caches, reposts, or public copies controlled by third parties;

• immediately remove data from restricted backups.

Deleting the Game from a device is not necessarily the same as deleting a registered account or cloud data.

Deleting a Fallen Fur Game account does not automatically delete materials submitted separately through the pet-submission program. Pet-submission materials, consent records, ownership evidence, and related removal requests are handled separately under Section 13 of this Privacy Policy, the Pet Submission Privacy Notice, and the Pet Submission Agreement. 

13. Pet-Submission Withdrawal and Removal Requests

A pet submitter may contact me to exercise applicable privacy rights concerning their personal data.

Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn to the extent provided by applicable law.

Withdrawal:

• does not make processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal unlawful;

• may not require destruction of records that must be retained for legal claims, evidence, fraud prevention, or legal obligations;

• may not affect non-personal creative rights and materials where another lawful basis applies;

• cannot guarantee removal of copies made by third parties.

I will evaluate requests involving published pet content in light of:

• applicable privacy law;

• the Pet Submission Agreement;

• contractual obligations;

• intellectual-property rights;

• freedom of expression;

• evidence and legal-claim requirements;

• platform controls;

• technical feasibility.

A request relating to a submitted video or social-media post may require me to review the relevant publication, agreement, consent choices, ownership evidence, legal basis, platform controls, and technical feasibility.

Where removal is required or voluntarily accepted, I will take reasonable steps concerning content under my control. I cannot guarantee deletion from third-party screenshots, screen recordings, video downloads, shared posts, embedded copies, platform backups, archives, caches, search engines, private messages, or reposts.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• learn whether personal data is processed;

• request information about processing;

• access personal data;

• receive a copy of certain data;

• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

• request deletion or destruction;

• request anonymization;

• request restriction of processing;

• object to processing;

• withdraw consent;

• request data portability;

• opt out of targeted advertising;

• opt out of certain sale or sharing;

• object to certain automated processing;

• complain to a competent data-protection authority;

• seek compensation or another legal remedy where available.

These rights may be limited by:

• identity-verification requirements;

• the rights of other people;

• legal obligations;

• security and fraud concerns;

• legal claims;

• applicable exemptions.

I may refuse or limit requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, fraudulent, impossible to verify, or legally exempt, subject to applicable law.

You may also have the right to contact the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

15. Privacy Choices and Consent Withdrawal

Eligible users can access Privacy Choices through the Game’s Settings menu.

This may allow users to:

• review advertising consent;

• change consent;

• withdraw personalized-advertising consent;

• manage participating advertising providers;

• request non-personalized advertising.

Apple tracking permission can also be reviewed through iOS device settings.

Notification permission can be changed through device settings.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing completed before withdrawal.

The in-game Privacy Choices feature applies to advertising and related consent choices. It does not manage pet-submission permissions or removal requests. Pet submitters must contact fallenfurgame@gmail.com regarding pet-submission consent, access, correction, withdrawal, or removal requests. 

16. Automated Decisions and Profiling

The age gate and consent systems automatically determine which advertising and privacy flow applies.

For example:

• under-16 users are placed into a non-personalized-advertising path;

• eligible adult users may receive consent options;

• iOS users may receive Apple’s tracking-permission flow.

These automated settings are used for privacy protection and advertising treatment.

I do not currently intend to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning a user.

17. International Data Transfers

I am based in Türkiye.

Service providers may process data in:

• Türkiye;

• the European Economic Area;

• the United Kingdom;

• Switzerland;

• the United States;

• other countries where providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws different from the user’s country.

Where required, I will rely on an applicable transfer mechanism, contractual protection, consent, legal exception, or another lawful safeguard.

Pet submitters should understand that worldwide publication necessarily makes approved public material accessible in many countries.

Pet photographs and videos may be transferred internationally when they are processed by external artificial-intelligence, video-editing, storage, hosting, or social-media providers. Worldwide social-media publication also makes selected materials available in countries where viewers, platforms, and third parties may access or copy them. 

18. Security

I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data.

These may include, where appropriate:

• access restrictions;

• authentication controls;

• provider security features;

• secure transmission;

• minimization of collected information;

• moderation and review;

• deletion or redaction procedures;

• account-deletion tools;

• separation of age-treatment logic from raw birth-year analytics; 

• encryption and, where appropriate, password protection for local and external storage containing pet-submission materials; 

• restricted access to original pet photographs and videos;

• separation of published files from agreement and permission evidence;

• reasonable backup procedures;

• deletion or review of duplicate, rejected, or unused production files;

• preservation of the original submission record and accepted agreement version.

However, no storage, transmission, account, platform, or security system is completely secure.

I cannot guarantee:

• absolute security;

• uninterrupted availability;

• that a third party will never gain unauthorized access;

• that an external social-media, artificial-intelligence, image-processing, video-processing, audio-processing, storage, or hosting provider will never experience an incident; 

• recovery of every item after data loss.

If a personal-data breach occurs, I will take reasonable steps and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

19. External Platforms and Links

Pet submissions may be collected through Google Forms and Google Drive and may also involve Instagram, email, cloud-storage services, file-transfer services, or other platforms. 

Those platforms independently process:

• account data;

• messages;

• upload information;

• IP addresses;

• device information;

• usage information;

• other data under their own policies; 

• uploaded photographs and videos;

• file names, sizes, formats, duration, and metadata;

• upload date and time;

• playback, publication, viewing, sharing, or engagement information. 

I do not control their processing.

If the Game displays an Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, or other external link, opening the link may allow the external service to collect information about the visit.

When submitted videos or other pet materials are published on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another platform, that platform may independently process viewer information, engagement data, account information, device information, and copies of the published material according to its own policies. 

I am not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content of external services.

20. Changes in Ownership or Operation

If the Game or related business is sold, transferred, reorganized, outsourced, inherited, or operated by another person or entity, relevant personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

The recipient may continue processing data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy unless users are informed otherwise.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy when:

• Game features change;

• new providers are added;

• privacy or advertising flows change;

• pet-submission practices change;

• applicable law or platform rules change;

• security or operational practices change.

The “Last Updated” date will be revised.

If changes are material, I may provide notice through:

• the Game;

• the website;

• an app-store listing;

• email;

• another reasonable method.

Where renewed consent is legally required, I will request it before the relevant processing.
